Melissa Lyric is a multi-genre music producer from New Jersey, known for her genre-blending production and innovative approach to R&B, Hip-Hop, and Latin music. She earned her B.A. in Music Production from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

In 2019, Melissa’s talent was recognized when she won the ASCAP Harold Adamson Lyric Award, solidifying her place as top emerging talent in the industry. Since then, she has been shaping the sound of both rising and established artists, bringing her ear for melody, deep-pocket drum programming, and polished mix aesthetics to projects across the U.S. and the Caribbean.

In 2023, Melissa was selected by Gender Amplified and hired by Serato, alongside eight other producers, to create and produce for Serato’s G.A. "Unfound Sounds' sound pack. Released globally in celebration of Women’s History Month, the pack is available in Serato Studio, Serato's music production software.

 

In 2024, Melissa participated in Platoon’s She Runs the Boards Latin Camp in Miami during Billboard Latin Music Week, further tapping into the Latin music scene and expanding her sonic palette and industry network.

Beyond artist collaborations, Melissa’s work extends into TV and media, with credits in music production and composition for FOX Entertainment. She also worked briefly with Apple as a Music Tech Specialist, contributing her expertise in the music software space.
